Welcome!
I'm Brianna Bach, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, experienced in working with teens, college students, and young adults managing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges.
My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, drawing first and foremost from a safe, trusting relationship. I provide a safe, nonjudgemental space that allows for exploration of your thoughts and emotions. This will be a place that we can explore new skills, challenge thoughts or patterns of behavior that might not be working for you, and begin to explore new, healthier ways to manage symptoms or stressors. While personalized to meet every individual client’s specific needs, I typically draw from various treatment modalities including a relational and attachment-based lens, and also incorporate skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In sessions, you can expect my style to be warm, relational, and includes a balance of humor and feedback.
I have a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. Prior to transitioning fully to my private practice, I worked in a variety of settings and roles, including at a group practice providing individual and group therapy to kids, teens and adults; as a Clinical Supervisor within a community mental health clinic, providing individual therapy to high schoolers, college students and young adults, as well as clinical supervision to master’s level therapists; and as a Clinical Director of a residential and community-based acute treatment program. Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working closely with those seeking to make positive changes for themselves, and enjoy supporting each individual path to a healthier, improved quality of life.
